[04 May 2006|03:22pm] Summer has begun... And I've returned as a Subway employee. My manager put me on the schedule for more hours then I thought I would be getting. It's nice now, I'm sure I'll be getting sick of it soon. I may also be working at the golf course driving the beer cart. I need to save money though so I can buy my parking pass and an ipod. Those are the two big purchases I'd like to make so far. I'm making a quilt that I'm excited about. Jessica is making one as well and teaching me a long the way. I finally found someone to likes doing nerdy crafts like me. :) Just got my grades for second semester. 3.77! Pretty pumped about that, better then a 2.8 from first semester. It also brought my career to a 3.3. Now I'm just waiting on my interior design letter so see if i got in. Keep your fingers crossed. [31 Mar 2006|12:55am] [ mood | content ] Thursday - today was wonderful. Played some frisbee and tennis. Nice to just be outside. There was also an outback feast in the cafe tonight for dinner that was amazing. ::weekend plans:: Friday - heading home via train with monica. We're going to see Ice Age 2 as well if anyone would like to join...? Saturday - probably going to visit gma, and that's all that is planned. Sunday - baby shower and then heading back to school for the shows which shouldn't be reruns this time! Then it's four more weeks including finals and summer begins:) Summer plans: -take a few credits -work lots -pool parties -baseball games -camping? -see friends i've missed this year am i leaving anything out...? post comment

[23 Feb 2006|08:46pm] [ mood | relieved ] Waiting for Monica to get back from Grand Rapids, then I'm heading home for Spring Break... [Freshman year is passing by a lot faster then I thought it would. After this week off, there's only 8 weeks left and summer has returned. Looking forward to a constant high temperature vs. what's been going on now. This weather is tricky and I don't like it] [Going to the rockette show friday. One of my favorite parts of high school. Allen is taking four lovely ladies out and we will have a grand time. Plus I think Allen is coming back from the far away planet he's been on, so it'll be nice to see that kid :)] [Hopefully going to Auto Rama next friday with my dad, Marvin and Zsquared. [07 Feb 2006|12:11am] [ mood | optimistic ] I am soo excited for next year. I just turned in my housing application today and hopefully Jessica and I will be roommates, Annie will be across the hall, Monica will be next door and the boys will be upstairs. It is going to be so much fun having everyone in the same building. No more walking back alone at night, and having to truck a couple blocks to eat. And hopefully I will be taking fun art classes. It seems like a weird concept to be taking classes that you actually enjoy and want to sit through. I can't wait! This past weekend flew by way faster then I thought it would. Received a good amount of snow and it had it's ups and downs. Spent all weekend with Dave, Jeff, Jessica and Annie. We had a little superbowl/grey's party last night with a few other visitors. Tons of funn. I think my roommate put a new air freshener in her room and it smells awful. I'm looking forward to it running out of scent. Today I skipped my computer class :/ and had a math exam that I feel I did pretty good on. Later Jessica and I went to cheer on the boys at their basketball game then joined Annie and Beth to prep for Dave's upcoming birthday. We're taking him to Hooters and he has no idea what we have planned. Got all my laundry done today, my hamper was overflowing. I'm coming home this weekend for the 'celebration de Monica/Lydia' and to see some people who I have not seen in awhile. :) 2 comments|post comment

greetings [26 Jan 2006|02:57pm] [ mood | chipper ] And the week has almost come to an end... I took a kickboxing class last night and it pretty much kicked my ass, and I am pretty sore today. As they say though "no pain, no gain". I turned in my paper for peer editing this week and we were suppose to write about a piece of art, song or movie that has influenced who we are today. I wrote about The Heidelberg project. One girl in my group wrote about how "Gone" by Kelly Clarkson changed her life and the other girl wrote about Rascall Flatts. My paper didn't really fit in, so I'm hoping it meets the requirements. I'm taking the train home tomorrow with Katie. I'm excited to see Katie I just wish I got home earlier. I wont be home until 7 i dont think. Then hopefully Marv, Adam and I are gonna head out to Ann Arbor to see Mr. Zrull, who we haven't seen in forever. [19 Jan 2006|11:40am] It is so nice out today, compared to yesterday. Makes it a lot better to walk around. So in my computers class we learned what a "mouse" is, and how to use it. It's pretty much the sweetest college class ever. Believe me, 50 min couldnt go by any slower then it does when you are sitting in that class. I'm mailing my application for the interior design program in today. Kinda nervous, cause if i dont get in, im not really sure what I'm going to do instead. Heyy [16 Jan 2006|12:40am] Well semester two has begun and it isn't to shabby. So far i like my classes and my schedule. No classes before 10am, which is amazing, and I'm done by 4 everyday. Slight chance that I may get an apartment next year, but I'll probably end up in the dorms again, which is okay. I've decided that I'm going to get a major in interior design and a minor in business. We'll see how that goes... This weekend was nice. Spent some quality time at home with the parents, and got to see some cool cats out at Michigan State. Also spent some time with ms. baj and michael, which was very enjoyable. I'm very excited to go see Owen on the 28th with channing and steve. [23 Jan 2005|09:45pm] [ mood | optimistic ] It's been awhile... Had a very relaxing 3 day weekend. Friday, Steve and I went up to western to check it out. Overall it was a very nice campus and i liked the school but i don't really think im ready to leave yet. Maybe transfer there eventually, who knows. After western, i went to the auto show with zack, anton and monica :). Good fun, sweet cars,got some good pictures too. After anton dropped us off the rest of us went to steve's to watch a movie, but i don't remember what it was called. It was an okay movie. Things have been going really well lately and im hoping they continue to get even better. New classes tomorrow, or actually just one new class for me. Photo and Mr. Matt Larner is in my class, should be fun! Suppose to go see Marvin this weekend but things didn't work out :/. Then Allen and I headed out to ann arbor for ms. saia's birthday at mongolian bbq, which was delicious. After that we just went back to her house for some cake. Headed to westland mall and then to good old value world. Everyone got pretty good stuff, especially the goosebumps hat(if only it glowed)haha. Yesterday I hosted a feast for terry because he's leaving for the army next week, but he was unable to make it. Then we headed to the bowling alley for a quick game. hey hey [25 Dec 2004|09:57pm] [ mood | grateful ] Overall Santa was pretty good to me. This Christmas seemed to fly by faster then ever. My family had 3 straight days of festivities which were all delightful to say the least, and next year Christmas eve is at my house which is a pleasant surprise. I hope everyone else had a good Christmas as well and got lots of good stuff, and i'd like to thank everyone who bought me something. I loved it all. I did get a slr camera from the rents, which im not sure how to use, but i'm sure i'll figure it out sooner or later. It's weird to think about what next Christmas will be like. Just because of the fact that I don't know where i'll be. Not that I won't be home, but as far as where i'll be going to school is more what i mean. It's such a toss up right now. Should i go away or should i stay home? Each day is different from the next. Hopefully once i visit a few campuses it will help make up my mine. Quite a few people are going to be gone next week which is sad :(, but they all should be back for new years eve, which is ms. mary baj's birthday as well as my mom's. I'm hoping this year will be better then last. Now that all the fun is over, i have to get up at 7:30 for work. Hope everyone had a great holiday :) 2 comments|post comment

[18 Dec 2004|12:10pm] [ mood | calm ] [ music | pictures of annie ] Just woke up not to long ago, feels good to sleep in once and awhile, even though it's break and ill be doing that a lot. I had a lot of fun last. Bowled then went to the "same day delivery" show. They had "pictures of annie" play with them and i really enjoyed their music. I bought both of their cd's. We hung out with the band at the cafe for like 45min after and found they were very cool people. It's always fun to meet new people. Then headed to Paige's for awhile. Got to see cool people there. Today is like almost every other saturday, have to work. Probably going to bum around the house until then. Oooh just got a call from work, and have to go give them keys, sweeet. [14 Dec 2004|10:27pm] [ mood | content ] Tonight was a good night... Went out for dinner and a movie with Lisha, mbaj and monica for my birthday, a little late but it works. It was nice to spend time with all of them, cause i miss my girls. We went to see "closer", which was alright. The fact that Jude Law was in it made it better. I love when you're driving and you're just thinking about everything that is going on in the present and what might be going on in the future. Then a song comes on and it just makes you smile, because it brings back memories that you'll never forget. That always makes me happy and sometimes sad at that same time, but it does put a smile on my face. Choir concert with allen tomorrow :) Later days... 2 comments|post comment
